The countdown is on for the Rule of Thumb Small Business Conference put on by the Small Business Association of the Midlands. The daylong conference is designed to help small business owners in Nebraska and Iowa develop and grow their businesses. Topics that will be covered in break-out sessions throughout the day will include social media, marketing, business finance and new tax laws. I’m very excited to be presenting a session on software technology. The session is going to cover various Microsoft Office applications and the uses of PDF. I’ll be demonstrating various tools and techniques to rapidly create professional looking documents in Word, effectively manage and analyze data in Excel, develop engaging presentations in PowerPoint, and best practices for managing messages in Outlook. We’ll also discuss the benefits of converting documents to PDF.
This event will be held in Lincoln, NE on November 2nd. For more information or to register, visit the Rule of Thumb event website. Hope to see you there!
